Techman Robot Partnered with AMET to Develop AI Welding Collaborative Robot

In response to the rapid expansion of the global automated welding market, Techman Robot hosted the “U.S.-Taiwan AI Robotics Industry Cooperation Conference” on November 4. At this event, Techman Robot showcased the “TM AI Welding Collaborative Robot,” a joint project with U.S.-based smart welding technology leader AMET. Techman Robot CEO Haw Chen and AMET President Don Schwemmer invited several distinguished guests as opening speakers, including Secretary-General Lin De-Sheng of the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), Idaho Governor Brad Little, Commercial Officer Christian Koschil of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), and CEO Jeff Lin of the Taiwan-USA Industrial Cooperation Promotion Office (TUSA). Together, they witnessed this breakthrough in transnational technological collaboration.

This partnership established a U.S.-Taiwan AI robotics industry application cooperation platform. Techman Robot actively provided intelligent welding solutions, which have been applied in industries requiring high precision, such as shipbuilding, large-scale steel structure welding for airport terminals, and offshore wind power. This initiative aimed to address the global shortage of skilled welding technicians. AMET, deeply experienced in smart welding technology, served leading brands in heavy industries such as aerospace, shipbuilding, energy, and automotive sectors, with notable rocket manufacturers also utilizing its high-efficiency welding solutions. By integrating the TM AI Welding Collaborative Robot with AMET’s advanced automated welding technology, both companies aimed to capture the global automated AI welding market and promote the next generation of intelligent collaborative welding technology.

Techman Robot Inc. Listed on the Emerging Stock Market in Taiwan

Techman Robot Inc. (referred to as “Techman Robot”) held a pre-listing briefing for institutional investors on September 24 and was listed on Taiwan’s Emerging Stock Market on September 26, 2024 (stock code: 4585), officially entering the capital market.
