Tool Shift

I Have Taught a Different TCP, But I Want to Keep Using a Point Already Taught. Is There Any Efficient Way to Shift the Point to the TCP?  #

 

Record a point on tool 1 (T1),  then use the Tool Shift to change T1 to tool 2 (T2). This function can achieve either result: Keep Pose or Keep Path. Choose Keep Pose.

  • Keep Pose: Maintains the relative distance between the robot’s flange and the position that the flange is about to reach. Used when the end effector is changed.
  • Keep Path: Allows the robot to reach the origin through a new TCP.
