Installing Components Compatible with Robot’s Hardware Version

Examples are valid for:
TMflow Software version: All
TM Robot Hardware version: All
Other specific requirements: None
Note that older or newer software versions may have different results.

Installing components that are not compatible with the hardware version of a Control Box may cause unforeseen damage to the Box, Robot, or peripheral equipment. For example, joints 4, 5, and 6 of TM5, TM12, and TM14 may look identical, but they have different gear ratios. Installing incompatible joints may prevent the robot from working properly and cause damage to other components.

When ordering parts from Techman Robot, provide the hardware version of your Control Box. In addition, let us know the full serial number of the Control Box, and we can identify its hardware version and provide correct part numbers.

Some parts cannot have their applicable versions identified solely by appearance (e.g., IPC mainboards, power control boards, and joints). If you are not sure whether a part is compatible, provide the part number printed on the Techman Robot packaging, or supply a photo of the part along with the serial number printed on it.

components that look the same may have different part numbers
